Samoëns is an ideal family destination. Children can be introduced to skiing from the age of 3 in a specially adapted children's ski area, the Jardin des Neiges, or can join one of the ski schools for group or private tuition.
There's a big new outdoor skating rink in the village and a little motorised train making frequent tours of the village.
Samoëns boasts excellent crèche facilities with a large, purpose built, nursery in the centre of town. Children are accepted from 3 months for half or whole days and meals can be included. You are strongly advised to book crèche facilities well in advance, especially during the UK and French school holidays.
In the chalet, we can provide cots and high chairs, and have plenty of board games, books, toys and films to keep children occupied. (games, books, toys and DVDs subject to Covid)
We can also help sort out baby-sitting arrangements – subject to availability.
